DIETARY ANALYSIS
Weight Management...a simple equation
At Warners we aim to provide dietary advice in accordance with the latest good-health recommendations based on up-to-date scientific research. Too often people are mislead with dietary misconceptions in the media or the latest "fad" diet.
A person's diet should not be overly restrictive and limit your eating excessively. In order to achieve weight-loss you simply need to use more calories than you take in. But how do you know how much exactly?
RMR measurement
Find out exactly how many calories you need per day by using our gas analysis system to measure your resting metabolic rate.
Dietary Analysis
Truly understand your energy input and have your diet analysed. Do you eat too much salt or drink enough water? Are you eating enough or too much? Are you eating the right proportions of protein, carbohydrates and fats?
Measure your activity levels to find out your energy requirements from your activities of daily living, work-related activities and formal exercise.
Weight Management Plan
We can then scientifically calculate your energy requirements and provide feedback and guidance on your dietary modifications needed to achieve your goals. This could be in the form of a short-term action plan, or regular attendance of our weight management classes. These involve group support and regular reviews of the latest developments in diet and weight management.
